We have now used Sophie and Pure Patisserie twice for big birthday celebrations. The birthday cakes and cup cakes have been absolutely exceptional both times. I also think they represent very good value for money given the time involved and the extreme high quality of the finished products. Sophie spent time with me working out the exact designs and flavours that we wanted and she was also incredibly patient when I changed my mind or was unclear about both! Pick up was also seamlessly handled and Sophie took great care to ensure the cakes could be transported correctly. I can’t recommend Sophie highly enough and will definitely be using Pure Patisserie again.
Sophie made the most delicious wedding cake for us and was complete heaven to work with from start to finish. Super helpful, accommodating and reactive as well as being a super star baker. I’m still receiving messages from friends and family saying it was the most scrummy cake they’d ever had. THANK YOU so so much!

Sophie really caters for every occasion (even your dog’s birthday) and each time the quality of her products is consistently outstanding.
Sophie and her team are incredibly diligent, welcoming and professional with impeccable attention to detail. Every product I have tried has also tasted sensational. Pure Patisserie will always be at the top of my recommendations list!
Attended the macaron making class. What a wonderful day. The fastest 3hrs of my life! Such fun and Sophie and her team and so knowledgeable. The very best of ingredients and equipment are used, which helped male 45 delicious macarons to take home… minus a few that were enjoyed during the break with a coffee.
I have been a customer of pure patisserie since they opened! I am lucky to live local but I would travel a great distance for pure patisseries creations! I have tried most of their products and all are exceptional but I have to say the cookies have to be one of the best cookies I have ever tried! Would recommend over and over! I have also used Sophie for corporate functions, personal occasions and also of course our beautiful and most delicious wedding cake! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my weekend treat or occasion cakes and desserts!

I recently attended the 4hr cake decorating class at Pure Patisserie and couldn’t recommend it enough.
Sophie is the owner and leads the class and offers instruction, tips and advice with perfect clarity, patience and knowledge. She clearly knows her stuff! The pace of the learning was just right, with questions welcomed and support offered. The tone of the class was friendly and relaxed with a yummy lunch from another Buckingham independent establishment, Cornwall Kitchen.
Sophie was supported in the class by Maddie, who was also friendly and knowledgeable.

Gorgeous surprise parcel received in the post for Mother’s Day! Orange marmalade brownie truffles all safely and beautifully wrapped, looked and tasted so good. As they were marmalade and it was morning, I HAD to have one for breakfast!! Would definitely recommend

We ordered a beautiful 2 tier cake from Sophie for my daughters 2nd birthday, it met all of her allergen requirements; dairy, egg and nut free and tasted delicious.

Oh my goodness, Sophie made the most delicious afternoon tea for my partner’s 30th birthday! Genuinely the best food I have had! It is usually the ‘festive tea’ this time of year but I asked Sophie if she could make it birthday themed and she did, it was beautiful!😍 I have had other cakes from Sophie as well in the past and they were delicious! Would never go anywhere else now for cakes!
