Pure Patisserie is run by professional pastry chef Sophie Lewis. After leaving school she went to catering college and completed her level 2 in professional cookery. Since leaving college Sophie has a wealth of experience working in luxury hotels and high end restaurants, including three different Michelin starred restaurants. Sophie’s most recent role before starting her own business was that of Senior Pastry Chef at the Michelin starred restaurant in Claridges (formerly Fera) in Mayfair London. As well as running the busy section, Sophie’s role at Claridges  included designing her own innovative desserts. 

In February 2019 Sophie established her own business “Pure Patisserie” baking from her fully equipped kitchen in Buckingham.  Sophie will work closely with you and provide the care and personal attention needed to make your special event ideas a reality whether it is a simple afternoon tea or complete wedding.
