Pure Patisserie is run by professional pastry chef Sophie Lewis. After leaving catering college with level 2 in professional cookery Sophie began in the work place as a commis chef at a four star country hotel. Since those early days she has gained a wealth of experience working in luxury hotels and high end restaurants, including three different Michelin starred restaurants.
Sophie’s most recent role before starting her own business was that of Senior Pastry Chef at the Michelin starred restaurant in Claridges (formerly Fera) in Mayfair London. As well as running the busy section, Sophie’s role at Claridges included designing her own innovative desserts.
In February 2019 Sophie established her own business “Pure Patisserie” baking from her fully equipped kitchen in Buckingham. Sophie will work closely with you and provide the care and personal attention needed to make your special event ideas a reality whether it is a simple afternoon tea or complete wedding.
In March 2023 Sophie opened her new shop at Remus House Buckingham containing a fully fitted kitchen with a dessert counter and bake school.
